Robert Gardner serves as President and CEO of Cub Creek Energy, LLC and has 23 years oil and gas experience in reserves, operations, and project management. Mr Gardner has extensive Rocky Mountain experience serving as Engineering Manager for Ute Energy, LLC from 2010 to 2012 while being responsible for the drilling, completion of over 150 wells as well as reserve determination for wells in excess of 400 MMBOE in number in the Uintah Basin resulting in a successful divestment value of $790 Million at the end of 2012. Recently, Mr. Gardner served as VP of Engineering at Tekton Energy, LLC where had direct responsibility for drilling and completing 31 horizontal Codell & Niobrara wells leading to a successful $220 Million divestment of the company. During his career Mr. Gardner has worked at a variety of positions in well known oil & gas companies. He started his career at Amoco E&P responsible for drilling, completion, production, reserves, and facilities engineering in Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Colorado.

Later he worked as a reserve engineer, reservoir engineer and operations superintendent at HS Resources, Tom Brown Inc. and Barrett Resources before becoming a District Engineer with Williams Production RMT serving in Parachute, Colorado – Piceance Basin. From 2004 to 2007 Mr Gardner has worked for Aspect Energy, LLC as Gulf Coast Business Unit Manager responsible for company exploration and reserves engineering on shore Texas and Louisiana. Since 2007, Mr. Gardner has worked in senior positions at Samson Oil & Gas, Rosetta Resources, and prior to joining Tekton Energy in 2013 for Ute Energy. Mr. Gardner holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State Univeristy, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University,and an MBA with Emphasis in Finance from the University of Denver.
